Natural treatment approaches with the body's own cells - modern regenerative medicine in Kronberg

Chronic tendon complaints, joint problems or sports injuries can significantly impair quality of life. Modern regenerative medicine can open up new treatment options: At our practice in Kronberg, we rely on therapeutic approaches that support the body's own regeneration mechanisms. Autologous cell therapies make targeted use of the natural properties of the patient's own blood - a treatment approach that can offer new possibilities to support the body's own regeneration and healing processes of the musculoskeletal system in the case of chronic inflammatory complaints, signs of wear and tear and also in the case of recovery processes following accidents or operations.

Find out how these modern procedures work, what possibilities they could offer and whether they could be suitable for your complaints.

The problem and our treatment approach

Traditional treatment methods have their limits

Many patients are familiar with the feeling of frustration: medication can have undesirable side effects, surgical procedures involve risks and healing processes can often be lengthy. Conventional treatment approaches do not always lead to the desired success, particularly in the case of chronic musculoskeletal complaints.

Our natural approach can support your self-healing powers

One possible treatment approach lies in your own body: autologous cell therapies use the body's own material without any additives. As these are components of your own blood, no allergic reactions are generally to be expected. The natural regeneration mechanisms can be activated in a targeted manner and the healing process supported.

Definition

What are autologous cell therapies?

Autologous cell therapies use the properties of your own blood. They are based on the use of the messenger substances present in the blood and the properties of the plasma and serum components - mainly the blood platelets. These endogenous mechanisms are concentrated using modern methods and targeted to the treatment site.

Our forms of therapy - tailored to your symptoms

ACS (Autologous Conditioned Serum)This process enables the production of a serum with potential anti-inflammatory components. Due to its natural anti-inflammatory properties, it is also known as "organic cortisone".

Leukocyte-poor platelet-rich plasmaThis form of therapy can have a bioregenerative effect and support the body in tissue regeneration.

Leukocyte-rich platelet-rich plasmaDepending on the individual treatment requirements, different modes of action can be targeted. The forms of therapy differ in their mode of action and form of production - from potentially anti-inflammatory to possibly bioregenerative.

Therapy

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) - Three specialized therapeutic approaches

Not all musculoskeletal complaints are the same. Therefore, the treatment should also be different. While acute injuries regeneration processes are are in the foreground, chronic inflammations require a different different therapeutic approach. We can offer offer three specialized forms of PRP therapy which are each optimized for different symptoms.

White PRP (leukocyte-poor plasma) -
For anabolic processes

If the body needs support with reconstruction, treatment with White PRP is suitable. This anabolic form of therapy focuses on the regenerative properties of the blood and deliberately reduces the proportion of certain cells that could promote inflammatory reactions. The leukocyte-poor plasma can help to specifically support the body's own rebuilding process and promote regenerative healing processes.

  • Possible areas of application for White PRP are

  • Healing processes after operations or injuries
  • Regeneration for fresh cartilage or tendon damage
  • Early stages of degenerative diseases
  • Sports injuries where the body may need support during recovery

Red PRP (leukocyte-rich plasma) -
For chronic inflammatory processes

Red PRP comes into play for persistent complaints that do not improve with conventional treatment methods. The catabolic variant contains more white blood cells and is therefore suitable for long-lasting inflammatory processes. The leukocyte-rich plasma can help to break through chronic inflammatory cycles and restart stagnant healing processes.

  • Typical areas of application for Red PRP are

  • Chronic tendonitis (especially Achilles tendon)
  • Tennis elbow and golfer's elbow
  • Plantar fasciitis (heel spur)
  • Long-lasting inflammatory processes that cannot be actively influenced

ACS (Autologous Conditioned Serum) - The "organic cortisone"

ACP (Autologous Conditioned Serum) is the body's own alternative to conventional cortisone treatments. In a complex, 45-minute process, this procedure isolates the anti-inflammatory substances from your blood and concentrates them in a way that the body could not achieve on its own. The result is a highly concentrated, endogenous serum that can have an anti-inflammatory effect that could be comparable to cortisone preparations - but without the side effects.

In contrast to conventional cortisone treatments, no local side effects such as circulatory disorders or fatty tissue necrosis are generally to be expected. There are also no systemic effects on blood pressure or blood sugar. As it is the body's own material, it can be used repeatedly if necessary without having to observe quantity limits.

  • Preferred areas of application for the "organic cortisone" are:

  • Activated arthrosis in joints
  • Inflammatory spinal diseases
  • Severe joint inflammation where an intensive anti-inflammatory effect is desired
Technology

IMPACT® technology - precision meets innovation

The IMPACT® technology offers potential advantages for the production of autologous cell therapies. The system offers the possibility of producing various autologous blood products with just one platform. Internationally, these processes are also known as "orthobiologics".

The special feature: IMPACT® technology enables the concentration of growth factors, anti-inflammatory cytokines and stem cells. Once injected into the affected area, these concentrated active ingredients can naturally support your body in the regeneration of injured tissue. Variable concentrations of leukocytes and platelets allow for more customization to your needs.

The entire production process is fully automated: centrifugation and separation of the blood fractions takes place in a closed system. The built-in optical sensor adjusts automatically. We insert the syringe with your blood and after a few minutes we receive the finished autologous blood product - ready for use in your treatment.
